Update: due to the ongoing spread of COVID-19, the Arkansas State Fair, in conjunction with the Arkansas Department of Health and the City of Little Rock Mayors Office, as of 3/13/2020 has cancelled the overall Spring Livestock Show.
All gatherings of 200+ people are forbidden in the city of Little Rock for the future. We are remaining in contact with ASF to hopefully reschedule when it is safe for everyone’s health.
We know this is disappointing but it is what it is. Our event last year brought in close to 500 people, just for our goat show. The overall livestock show is multiple breeds and events, bringing in thousands of people from all over the South, Southeast, and Midwest. That’s a lot of people interacting with a virus that has a long infection lifespan, and there’s only so many hand washing stations and masks in the world.
So stay home, stay safe, and love on your herd. They will have their time to shine another day when we can all celebrate together safely.
The 2020 Diamond State Ruby Jubilee Will Be April 30- May 3, 2020, at the Arkansas State Fairgrounds in the Swine Barn.
